TULKAREM, August 16, 2009 (WAFA)- A Palestinian woman from Beit Leed village near Tulkarem gave birth, Sunday, to identical triplets.
Dr. Ma’moun Bleibleh, obstetrician in Al-Zakah hospital in Tulkarem said that the mother and three baby boys were in good health condition, and have all left the hospital. The babies weighed between 2100-2300 gm, and were naturally born after 36 weeks of pregnancy.
Pediatrician, Dr. Ahmad Al-Taher said that the natural conception and birth of identical triplets, is very rare; less than 1 per million births.
