RAMALLAH, August 15, 2009 (WAFA)- The PLO Executive Committee said Saturday that the resolutions adopted in the Fateh Movement sixth Conference held recently in Bethlehem support our people goals for freedom and independence.

In a meeting headed by President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, the Executive Committee said it thinks of calling the UN Security Council to convene to discuss the continued Israeli breaches in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, mainly in Jerusalem.

It condemned  Hamas bloody acts in the  Gaza Strip, specially what happened yesterday in Rafah, saying that Hamas is repeating the Somali and Afghani  practices in Gaza.

The Committee affirmed that the only way of making of the Palestinian dialogue a success is represented by holding presidential and legislative elections at the begging of next year.
