RAMALLAH, July 20, 2009 (WAFA)- Presidency Spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rdeina, condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s declarations concerning the continuation of colonization in East Jerusalem.

Abu Rdeina stressed, in a statement he made to WAFA, that East Jerusalem is a red line that must not be crossed, considering that Netanyahu refuses the international demands to halt colonization activities, and continues challenging and provoking the international efforts aimed at reaching a just permanent solution of the conflict in the Middle East.

He demanded the US Administration not to lose the opportunity, currently available to pursue the peace process, especially, the efforts exerted by the Obama Administration in this direction.

Abu Rdeina warned of the continuation of this Israeli policy, and held Israel responsible for the cessation of the peace process.
