SHARM AL-SHEIKH, July 15, 2009 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas signed, Tuesday, an agreement with Dominican Republic President Antonio Fernández, to establish diplomatic relations between the State of Palestine and the Dominican Republic.
The agreement was signed in a meeting on the eve of the 15th Non-Alignment Movement Summit, in the Egyptian resort of Sharm Al-Sheikh. The President briefed the Dominican Republic President on the latest developments in the Palestinian Territory, and the ways to reinforce the bilateral relations.
