GAZA, May 25, 2009 (WAFA) - Israeli airplanes dropped, Monday, handouts over the Gaza Strip, warning the population there not to get close to the security fence between Israel and the besieged Strip.
The flyers read: 'it is not allowed to anyone reach the 300-meter security buffer zone. The Israeli forces will take the actions necessary to turn people away, including shooting.'
The leaflets included a map showing the borderline that separates between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Many farmers and civilians who live in or near the security buffer zone were killed or injured by Israeli troops since the Second Palestinian Intifada started in 2000. The space of so called security buffer zone changes according to what Israel calls 'security needs'.
