RAMALLAH, May 24, 2009 (WAFA)- A Professional Skill Enhancement for Journalists training course was launched, today, at The Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA)’s headquarters in Ramallah.
The course, organized by The French Consulate General in Jerusalem and France Press Foundation, aims at empowering WAFA’s journalists’ skills in writing for the press, and approaching news stories with a critical eye.
Instructor Safaa Kanj of AFP is to tackle with participants the basics of a journalist’s work, dealing with sources, accuracy, feature story development in addition to photos and graphics.
