Ofer Prison Administration Deprives 400 Palestinian Prisoners from Visits

JENIN, December 23, 2008 (WAFA)- Ofer Prison Administration has told 400 Palestinian prisoners that their families will not be allowed to visit them starting Tuesday until January 19, 2009.

 

Palestinian Prisoners said in a message to WAFA that Israeli Occupation Authorities cited “incitement against the Occupation” for a pretext for this arbitrary punishment.

 

They added that Israeli Occupation Authorities have seized all electric equipment and food supplies, which Palestinian prisoners have struggled to manage to get them inside the prisons. Israeli Authorities also torched and tore tents and seized blankets holding Palestinian prisoners in the freezing cold weather.
