Israeli High Court Voids Apartheid Wall Route in Bil'in

RAMALLAH, December 16, 2008 (WAFA)- The Israeli High Court ruled, Monday, that the second amended route of the Israeli Apartheid Wall proposed by Israeli on the lands of Bil'in is illegal.

 

Israeli High Court Judged concluded that the proposed route violates the Court ruling from September 2007, and ordered Israel to pay the residents of Bil'in legal expenses to the sum of NIS10,000.

 

If implemented, the Israeli High Court decision will return to the citizens of Bil'in approximately one half of their land west of the existing Apartheid Wall.
