Victim 53 of Israeli Closure Dies early Today
GAZA, December 29, 2007, (WAFA)- Palestinian medical sources declared Friday night the death of a sick citizen in Gaza Strip as a result of being banned from leaving Gaza for treatment.
The sources added that the citizen Awatef Ibrahim, 52, from Rafah city, died. Thus the number of the patients died as a result of the Israeli tight closure over Gaza Strip mounted so far to 53.
A long list of patients await death as they suffer epidemic and dangerous diseases due to the Israeli siege over Gaza Strip thus being un able to leave Gaza out for proper treatment.
