RAFAH CROSSING, April 04, 2007 (WAFA) -Presidential Guard Spokesman, Wael Dahab said Wednesday that the Rafah border Crossing with Egypt operates today.

He told WAFA that the Crossing is working in both directions after the European team supervising the crossing was attended.

Dahab called upon the travelers to abide by the instructions of the Crossing's employees to enable them from carrying out their mission so as not to give Israel pretexts to close the crossing again.

Israeli Occupation Forces closed the crossing since last June 25 in light of the Israeli campaign on the Gaza Strip "Summer Rains", and only reopened during emergency cases.
