Abu Rdeineh Says New Government Formed
GAZA, March 14, 2007 (WAFA) -Presidency Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rdeineh, said on Wednesday that that everything related to the formation of the national unity government is done and complete.
Abu Rdeineh said in a joint press conference in Gaza with the spokesperson of the government Dr. Ghazi Hamad, that now there is a national unity government that will represent the entire Palestinian people.
He called upon the Arab Summit that will be hel this month in Riyadh and the Quartet to accept this new government which is a Palestinian need, because only this will lead to peace and stability in the region.
He also called for giving the new government a chance to help lift the siege imposed on the Palestinian people.
Earleir tonight, PM Ismael Haniyya said he would present his new government to the Legislative Council for final approval this weekend.
Haniyeh said he would announce the names of the new Cabinet on Thursday, and the PLC will hold a vote of confidence in the government on Saturday.
