Haniyya: Unity Government Done
GAZA, March 14, 2007 (WAFA) -- Prime Minister Ismail Haniyya said on Wednesday that everything related to the formation of the national unity government is complete.
He told reporters following his meeting with President Mahmoud Abbas that saying he would present his new government to the Legislative Council for final approval this weekend.
"Today is an occasion to celebrate. We have done everything," Haniyeh asserted.
Haniyeh said he would announce the names of the new Cabinet on Thursday, and the PLC will hold a vote of confidence in the government on Saturday.
