RSF Concerned over the Kidnapping of BBC Reporter
PARIS, March 13, 2007, (WAFA)- Reporters Without Borders (RSF) expressed its concern on the kidnapping of the BBC's correspondent, Alan Johnston, in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued last night, RSF called for the immediate release of Johnston.
It also urged both President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh to react at once to speed up his release.
Various Palestinian factions and civil society organisations condemned the abduction of Johnston and called for his immediate release.
