16 Protestors Wounded by IOF at Bil'in Weekly Demo
EAMALLAH, MARCH 9, 2007 (WAFA) - Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) attacked in Friday Bil'in anti-wall weekly protest, wounding sixteen protesters, WAFA reporter said.
He added that isareli troops attacked the peaceful march and shot stun grenades and rubber coated metal bullets at protestors, leaving sixteen of them wounded.
Meanwhile, International Solidarity Movement (ISM) said, after the last two large demos, today's march to the wall could be seen as an anti-climax, but the villagers of Bil'in were determined to maintain the momentum of their struggle and were not disheartened by the turn-out of around a hundred.
It said that Israeli soldiers reacted aggressively to the peaceful chanting and flag waving.
