AMMAN, March 8, 2007, (WAFA)- The Speaker of the Palestinian National Council (PNC), Salim Za'noun praised Thursday King Abdullah's address to a joint US Congress meeting.

"King Abdullah expressed the desire of Palestinians and Arabs by calling for an active US role to end the suffer of the Palestinian people by ending the Israeli occupation," Za'noun said.

He valued King Abdullah's courageous and bold position, when he called for ending the Israeli occupation of Arab lands, solving the Palestinian refugees issue and establishing a viable Palestinian state.
