UAE'S Mansour: UAE Supports Palestinian National Unity
ABU DHABI, March 7, 2007 (WAM)- Dr. Khaire Al Aridi, Ambassador of Palestine to the UAE met Wednesday in Abu Dhabi with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Presidential Affairs.
They discussed the progress of bilateral relations between the UAE and Palestine and the latest developments on the occupied Palestinian territory.
Sheikh Mansour reiterated the UAE's unequivocal support of all efforts that could lead to a sustainable peace built on attainment of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
He expressed hope that the Makakh Accord would translate into a national unity government to help close ranks of the Palestinian people.
