President Receives UN Secretary General's Envoy to Middle East
GAZA, March 7, 2007 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas received Wednesday in the Presidential HQ in Gaza city the UN Secretary General's Envoy to the Middle East, Mr. Alvaro de Soto.
The President briefed Mr. de Soto on the latest developments on the Palestinian arena in light of the current consultations to form the Palestinian national unity government in addition to the exerted efforts to lift siege imposed on the Palestinian people.
The meeting also tackled ways to returnthe peace process on the right track.
