Presidency Spokesman Condemns Israeli Assassination of 3 Citizens in Jenin
RAMALLAH, February 28, 2007, (WAFA)-Presidency Spokesman condemned on Wednesday the assassination of three citizens in Jenin city and the continued Israeli aggression against the West Bank city of Nablus.
In a statement, the Presidency Spokesman described the assassination of the three citizens and the incursion of Israeli occupation troops into Nablus city as crimes and barbaric acts and a part of open war against the Palestinian people and his national institutions as well as a clear retreat of the state of calm and an escape of the pace process.
The Presidency Spokesman called on Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to immediately halt the continued aggression on Nablus and stop the policy of a assassinations and crimes.
The Presidency Spokesman called upon international community, UN Security Council and the Quartet to provide protection to the Palestinian people against continued Israeli aggressions and collective punishment.
