President Meets Sheikh Khalifa of Emirates
ABO DHABI, February 27, 2007, (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas met on Tuesday with Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab of Emirates (UAE).
During the meeting, the President briefed Sheikh Khalifa on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, the exerted efforts to form a national unity government, and the results emerged from the trilateral meeting with Israeli Primer, Ehud Olmert, and the US secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.
The President also hailed UAE support to the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to establish the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
