PPS Calls for Saving Life of Woman Prisoner in Israeli Jails
HEBRON, February 24, 2007, (WAFA)-Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) in Hebron has appealed Saturday to the UN Human Rights Committee and International Red Cross Committee to immediately intervene and save the life of a woman prisoner in Israeli jails.
In a statement , the PPS said that Noura Jaber 34, suffers from kidney failure. Israeli authority refused to medicate or provide her with medicine. Jaber's health condition is deteriorating.
Jaber was arrested in September, 2006 and during arrogation, she was exposed to torture and harassment at the hand of investigators. Jabe is the wife of the prisoner Mohammed al-Hashlamon and a sister of the prisoner of NOUR Jaber, who received life term sentence.
