President Stresses Protection for Palestinians in Iraq
AMMAN, February 12, 2007 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas affirmed Monday the necessity to provide ultimate protection for Palestinians refugees in Iraq.
During a phone call with Iraqi president, Jalal Talabani, the President described to his Iraqi counterpart the hard circumstances that the Palestinians are passing through and which pushed majority of them to flee out of Iraq, stressing the necessity to supply Palestinian refugees with accurate security.
The president also briefed Talabani on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the Makka agreement as well as the Israeli excavation in Al-Aqsa.
