CAIRO, February 12, 2007 (WAFA) - The Interim Arab Parliament expressed hopes that the national unity government would be formed soon in accordance with the Mecca Agreement.

Speaker of the Parliament Mohammed al-Saqer,said in a press release, that the international community should work for lifting the siege imposed on the Palestinian people and do the utmost of its power to implement the resolutions of the international legitimacy which call for the establishing a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Al-Saqer described Mecca Agreement as a positive step, wishing that making such a deal and honoring the language of dialogue in stead of fight will prevail.
