Jordan & Germany Affirm on Direct Negations Between Palestinians and Israelis
BERLIN, January 28, 2007, (WAFA)-King of Jordan Abdullah11 and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel affirmed that direct negotiations between Palestinians and Israeli could only lead to progress in the peace process in the Middle East.
In a joint press conference in Berlin, Merkel stated that improving economical situation in the region would contribute for pushing the peace process forward, adding that the time has taught us to benefit from all census international efforts to advance the peace process.
Merkel made it clear that she stressed, in her meeting with President Mahmoud Abbas in Davos Conference, on the necessity of the contribution of all Arab states to support the exerted efforts to achieve peace.
