AMMAN, 23 August 2006, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas said Wednesday that the group which kidnapped the two foreign journalists is a new group and it could be superstitious.

Speaking to journalist after meeting with Greek minister of Foreign affairs, the President called on the kidnappers to immediately release the journalists.

An unknown group calling themselves "the holy Jihad Brigades" was kidnapped two Fox News journalists 9 days ago and threatened to kill them if the United States does not release all the Muslims prisoners in its jails within 72 hours.
