BAGHDAD, August 18, 2006 (WAFA)- An autopsy room in Baghdad received Friday a body of a Palestinian citizen who was kidnapped yesterday by an armed group from Mansour area at the west of the Iraqi capital.

Medical sources said the body of Hassan Abu Haija 50, who works at the Palestine Embassy to Iraq, was hit with a number of bullets after being tortured.

In the meantime, a Palestinian women was killed in Baghdad. Wafa' Abdul Salam was killed of an artillery shrapnel as four shells hit the Palestinian quarter in Dawra area in Baghdad.

The Palestinian community in Dawra demanded the United Nations to intervene for ending their plight.
