Dr. Ereikat: Rafah Crossing to be Open Tomorrow
RAMALLAH, August 8, 2006 (WAFA) - The Head of the PLO Negotiations Affairs Department, Dr. Saeb Ereikat said Tuesday that Rafah Crossing would reopen Wednesday only from Gaza Strip to Egypt.
Ereikat told a press conference in Ramallah that an agreement was reached to reopen Rafah Crossing tomorrow for two days from 8 am to 8 pm.
Israel has closed the Crossing, which is the only window to the outside world, since last June.
