IOF Wounds 2 Citizens, Arrests 4 others in WB
HEBRON, July 29, 2005 (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) wounded on Friday two citizens and arrested four others in the West Bank (WB), medical sources and witnesses said.
Medics at al-Khalil Hospital, in Hebron, said that Mohammed al-Ja'bari 23, and Salah al-Shawamra 35, sustained fractions and bruises all over their bodies as a result of severe beating by Israeli soldiers, who were patrolling al-Kassara area.
Also in Hebron, IOF arrested Alaa' Asafreh 22, after storming his house in Yatta town.
Meanwhile, IOF soldiers stormed Barqin village of Jenin, broke into houses and arrested Abdul Hadi Murtdada 22, Mahmoud Murtadha 20, and Fadi Murtadha 20, leading them all to an unknown location, witnesses said.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli troops hindered citizens' freedom of movement at the permanent checkpoint point of Abu Holi, which divides the Strip in two parts.
