RAMALLAH, July 28, 2005, (WAFA)- President of Water Authority, Fadhil Ka'wash, held Israel responsible for the water problem in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.... He said Thursday that the Israelis are obstacles in face of the Palestinian projects on water.... President of Water Authority pointed out thar Israel breaches the Palestinian-Israeli accord in 1995 which says that the Palestinian side should enjoy 80,000,000 cubic meter of West Bank fresh water per year, but the Palestinians uses just 15,000,000 only.... During a meeting with legislator, Jamal Alshati, in Ramallah, Ka'wash affirmed that the Palestinian National Authority tries to overcome the problem of lacking water, by digging new wells and creating new sources, but the Israeli occupation restrict such projects.... He stressed that without achieving the Palestinian projects, the problem of water will be too difficult to be solved....
