GAZA, November 21, 2006, (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas condemned Tuesday the crime of assassination Lebanese Minister of Industry, Pierre Gemayel.

The President considered the crime as a menace to Lebanon unity, stability and security, saying that the continuation of such crime would have serious consequences on regional and Arab security.

He also expressed his deep sympathy and consolation to his father, former Lebanese President, Sheik Amin Gemayel, Lebanese President, Emile Lahoud, Lebanese Prime Minister, Fuad Siniora and the Speaker of Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri.
