TULKAREM, April 5, 2006 (WAFA) - Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) in Tulkarem said that the Prisoners in the Israeli jails are subjected to medical negligence and robbery .... PPS revealed that the prisoners are living under harsh conditions and deliberate medical negligence as well as a robbery of their monthly payments by jails' authorities in an attempt to blackmail them and their families.... It added that the Israeli courts imposed inflated fines against the prisoners, that gained from their monthly payments.... PPS statistics revealed that more than 85% of the prisoners are punished by imposing fines, ranged between NIS1,000 to NIS10,000 (Israeli currency)....
