RAFAH, May 20, 2004, (WAFA)- Three more Palestinian civilians, including a three- year old child, were slaughtered Thursday in Rafah by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), witnesses and Palestinian medical sources said... Witnesses said that Jamal al-'Assar was killed and four others were wounded when Israeli snipers shot them fatally while they were trying to pick up some water from the roof of their house.... 'Al-'Assar was on the roof of his home, he was shouting to the Israeli soldiers to allow him to pick up water for his thirsty children but they shot him dead and continued firing at the houses wounding four others,' witness told WAFA in a phone call.... "He was trying to pick up water for his children. They have been under tightened siege, neither water nor electricity for the third consecutive day," witness added.... In the meantime, al-Najjar Hospital, in Rafah, said that the Palestinian citizen Mohammed Jabir 25, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in the same neighbourhood of Tal al-Sultan... Jabir was wounded several hours later, he bled to death as Israeli troops prevented ambulances from evacuating him, Hospital official said.... Thousands of Palestinian citizens are under Israeli siege in Tal al-Sultan neighbourhood. The Israeli troops have cut off electricity and water and continued killing people and destroying houses.... In a separate incident, a 3 year-old-child, Samer al-'Arja, died of a shock because of a sudden Israeli bombardment on the neighbourhood of al-Jneina in Rafah, witnesses said.... They told WAFA that the Israeli tanks fired heavy gunshots, terrifying citizens and damaging houses in al-Jneina.... Earlier on Thursday, five civilians were killed when Israeli Apache gunships and tanks opened fire at citizens in al-Brazil and al-Salam neighbourhoods of Rafah.... At least 42 Palestinian citizens, including children, were slaughtered in cold blood and tens others wounded, several in critical conditions, during the ongoing Israeli terrorist attack on Rafah which started three days ago.... A barrage of International condemnation has been directed against the Israeli government for its terror, however it continued its crimes giving a deaf ear to the world....
