RAMALLAH, May 16, 2004, (WAFA)- President Yasser Arafat reiterated on Sunday commitment to the peace of the brave and the Road Map peace plan, expressing the hope that the European Union will shoulder its responsibility towards the establishment of peace.... "We are committed to the peace of the brave and the Road Map, we hope that the EU, under you presidency, will exert more efforts towards peace," Arafat said in a joint press conference with the Holland Foreign Minister, Bernard Bot.... In response to a question on the Israeli High court regarding the approval of demolition of Palestinian houses, Arafat said that such decision is a new Israeli crime within the ongoing atrocious aggression against the Palestinian citizens, Land and our Christian and Islamic shrines.... On his part, Bot said that the EU is following up the Road Map and the developments of the peace process.... It is possible to achieve peace through the implementation of the Road Map and going back to the negotiation table, Bot said.
