RAMALLAH, May 16, 2004 (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Sunday a student in Ramallah City and another in the Gaza Strip city of Khanyounis, witnesses said.... Witnesses told WAFA that Bashar Tamim 28, of Bazaria, was arrested at 'Enab Israeli checkpoint and taken to an undisclosed location.... Somewhere else, IOF soldiers of Abu Huli checkpoint, arrested Ahmed Abu T'eima, a student at "al-Aqsa University", leading him to an unknown spot, witnesses affirmed.... They added that Israeli soldiers held hundreds of civilians and vehicles at Abu Huil checkpoint for several hours.... In JERUSALEM, a number of pupils suffered Sunday from suffocation as Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) fired tear-gas canisters at schoolboys in Abu Dees town of Jerusalem, witnesses said.... Witnesses confirmed that an Israeli military patrol fired tear-gas canisters against the schoolboys, wounding several them as a result of suffocation. - -
