GAZA, May 15, 2004, (WAFA) – The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) reiterated Saturday that the total attacks and violations committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) against the Palestinian journalists working in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) since the eruption of the Intifada mounted to 470 event.... The PCHR said, in a statement issued Saturday, that the Palestinian journalists working in the (OPT) have been subjected to severe aggression by (IOF).... The PCHR added that such Israeli atrocious violations against the Palestinian journalists breach the International Law and international legitimacy.... It also stated that the Israeli aggression against press, including the deliberate killing crimes committed against the Palestinian journalists are a part of an organized campaign in an attempt to conceal the truth of the continued Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.... The PCHR called on International Community, mostly the parties that signed the 4th Geneva Convention to immediately intervene so as to halt such crimes....
