RAFAH, May 15, 2004, (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished at least 150 civilians’ houses in Rafah Refugee Camp, near the borderline with Egypt, Palestinian sources said on Saturday.... The sources told WAFA that the IOF bulldozers, backed by air and ground strikes, destroyed at least 150 defenseless civilian houses during the last three days, as well as a mosque in Rafah areas of block “O” and al-Sha'ath..... Meanwhile, IOF troops furthered at pre-dawn Saturday its imposed military siege on one of the civilian houses in the city neighbourhood of Qishta on the borderline, amid intensive air raids on the civilians’ houses, witnesses and Palestinian security sources said.... The witnesses told WAFA that the IOF besieged the three-storey house of Hussam Qishta which shelters 20 family members, after confining them inside one room while preventing any one to reach there.... Palestinian Security sources confirmed that the Israeli helicopters raided on Saturday, the civilians’ houses in Rafah City amid a volley of tank shells.
