WEST BANK, May 6, 2004, (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) brutally arrested early Thursday sixteen civilians in the West Bank cities of Qalqilya, Tulkarem, Tubas and Bethlehem, WAFA and witnesses said.... WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli soldiers backed by tanks and armoured vehicles swept into the city of Qalqilya and launched an- all-out campaign of searching into civilians' houses causing a state of horror among inhabitants.... He added that Israeli soldiers arrested eight citizens and led them into an unknown place.... Meanwhile in Tulkarem, Israeli soldiers arrested two citizens from Anabta village east of Tulkarem city.... Witnesses said that Israeli soldiers besieged a house and broke into it, arresting two civilians.... Moreover in Tubas, local sources inside the city stated that several Israeli vehicles rolled, at pre dawn, into the city and arrested two teenagers and led them into an unknown fate.... Four other citizens were also arrested in Bethlehem when Israeli armoured vehicles swept into Aida Refugee Camp.... WAFA reporter said that Israeli soldiers launched, using bloodhounds, a door-to-door search campaign into civilians' houses and arrested four brothers.... Witnesses said that the Israeli soldiers forced inhabitants to evacuate their houses causing a state of panic among children and women....
