HEBRON, May 5, 2004 (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) issued Wednesday a military order of seizing vast areas of land in and around the vicinity of al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, official said.... Governor of Hebron, 'Oreif al-Ja'bari said that, IOF gave military orders dismissing civilians in the old city of Hebron and al-Ibrahimi Mosque area from their land, for colonizing purposes.... Elsewhere in the West Bank, Israeli soldiers held hundreds of civilians at an Israeli checkpoint erected at the entrance of Harmala area, southeast of Bethlehem, witnesses told WAFA.... They said that Israeli soldiers prevented them from access to that military checkpoint, adding that soldiers also shot fire, tear gas and stun grenades at travellers.... Witnesses affirmed that military jeeps chased them as they tried to reach Bethlehem through bypasses and uneven ways, preventing them from using these ways....
