Solana: The Killing of Dr.al-Rantissi is Unlawful
Brussels, April 18, 2004 (WAFA)-In a statement following Israel's assassination of Hamas Leader Dr.Abed al-Aziz al- Rantissi, Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) said that the European Union has consistently condemned extra-judicial killings... "Actions of this type are not only unlawful, but also not conducive to lowering tension",Solana said.... He said that such a crime will not contribute to ending violence and terrorism although we called for an end to violence and terrorism as well as the resumption of a cease-fire embracing all parties....
