Political Editor: After Belfour Declaration, The Disaster … a Pure US Industry

GAZA, April 17, 2004 (WAFA) - WAFA Political wrote: it is apparent that the George. Bush-led US administration does not deal with the crucial political issues with a political horizon, capable of penetrating into the nations’ pains all over the world.... If such an administration is repeatedly sinful in committing crimes whether in Afghanistan, Iraq, northern Korea, Iran, Syria or elsewhere, it has committed its most heinous sin in Palestine; it pushes the situation into an inferno with much more disasters and catastrophes.... Bush’s speech and his joint press conference with Israeli Premier Sharon included strange ideas and dangerous policies that would lead to more confusion, violence and bloodshed.... From our perspective, the US administration, which arrogantly behaves through its blind power to reshape the world according to its interests, will gradually arrive at a decisive conclusion that it does not contribute to global peace. On the contrary, it completely undermines peace and buries it once and for all.... It will also realize that it has dragged the US people for unjustified wars and confrontations that its people will never accept, as is the case in Iraq and perhaps in other places.... We have no other way, but this rationale, to bring this fact forward as we are closely observing the exchanged messages between Bush and Sharon, particularly those of Bush.... It is the first time in the history of the Arab- Israeli conflict, that a US administration endorses the expansion of colonies in the West Bank. Hence, US President Bush administration is imposing its unilateral solution on the Palestinian people and the Arabs. This is really an act of arrogance, injustice and show of force, provoking terror and violence which Sharon has been practicing throughout his whole lifetime, particularly the last four years. By so doing, the US cancelled its role as peace sponsor and buried not only the peace process but also the controversial “Road Map”.... By disregarding all UN resolutions calling for the right of return for Palestinian refugees, particularly resolution194 Bush has dealt a severe blow to International legitimacy and to the US credibility.... Bush has, thus, revived the Belfour Declaration which will undoubtedly cause more miseries, more disasters and more sufferings to the Palestinian people and bring about the liquidation of the Palestinian people and their just cause....
