RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 5, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear to partially cloudy and mild with a slight rise in temperature becoming 7°C higher than the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 13°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 22°C and a low of 12°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s weather is expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy and cold. Temperature is expected to significantly drop as scattered rain, thunderstorm and hail are expected on most areas.
Weather on Saturday is expected to be partially cloudy with a slight rise on temperature. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas.
Sunday’s temperature is expected to significantly rise as weather becomes mild in most areas.
PMD warned people against the risk of flash floods in low areas and valleys, low visibility, slippery roads, and gusty winds on Friday.
