RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said today that the outcome of the Israeli elections held yesterday show that the coming period will be full of challenges for the Palestinian people.

“Media reports indicate that Benjamin Netanyahu is coming back to power, which is a sign that Israeli society is becoming more right-wing, and that the coalition that may be formed is a coalition to annex the Palestinian territories and attack the Palestinian people,” said Shtayyeh at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting held in Ramallah.

"We are coming to a period full of challenges with the high pace of settlement construction and expansion, annexation of the Jordan Valley, transforming the Palestinian cities and villages into Bantustans and continuation of stealing our money in one form or another," he added.
