HEBRON, December 12, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Tuesday a student from the campus of the Palestine Technical University in al-Arroub refugee camp, to the north of Hebron in the West Bank.
The student was identified as Ibrahim Naser and has a heart condition and suffers from Dyspnea. He was detained and taken out of the Red Crescent ambulance and moved into an Israeli ambulance.
WAFA correspondent said Israeli soldiers raided the campus of the university and clashed with some of the students. The soldiers used teargas canisters and stun grenades to disperse the students, causing cases of suffocation.
Clashes have been renewing sporadically in and around the university campus, as well as in other locations in the occupied Palestinian territories, in the aftermath of US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital last week.
