RAMALLAH, Monday, March 09, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today expressed his gratitude to Qatar over donating millions of dollar to support efforts to combat the newly emerged coronavirus.

Abbas thanked the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for donating $10 million worth of emergency medical equipment to the Palestinian people to help fight the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the occupied territories.

Twenty cases of coronavirus were detected in Palestine in the last week and hundreds are currently kept in quarantine.
