JERUSALEM, Tuesday, April 02, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth and injured two others in an overnight military raid to the refugee camp of Qalandia, north of Jerusalem city.
Local sources said that large numbers of Israeli soldiers raided the refugee camp apparently to detain Palestinians.
Soldiers fired at close range at a Palestinian vehicle driving at al-Matar Street, killing the youthful driver, who was identified as Mohammad Ali Dar Adwan, 23.
The body of Dar Adwan was rushed by a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance to Ramallah Medical Complex.
During ensuing confrontations, soldiers opened fire towards local youngsters who protested the raid, hitting and injuring two protestors.
The two casualties were also rushed to Ramallah Medical Complex, where medics described their condition as moderate.
Israeli troops detained three Palestinian brothers after ransacking their house in the refugee camp.
