RAMALLAH, Saturday, May 18, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is back to normal with a significant drop in temperature to become slightly above the annual average, , said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). However, hot weather conditions are expected back early next week.
Moderate condition are expected to prevail in the mountainous areas today while hot condition remain in the rest of Palestine with westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate with active at times and low sea waves.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach today a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 22°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Another drop in temperature is expected for Sunday to become around its seasonal average with clear and mainly pleasant conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts.
A rise in temperature is expected, however, for Monday to become 3°C above the average and another significant rise in temperature is expected on Tuesday to become 8°C above the annual average as very hot weather condition return to Palestine.
