RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is warm in mountainous districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a rise of temperatures which approaches 8°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather is set to be pleasant in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 32°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to drop and approach 6°C above the seasonal average with warm to very warm conditions in daytime and relatively warm conditions in nighttime.
Thursday’s temperature is set to remain steady with warm to very warm conditions in daytime and relatively warm conditions in nighttime.
PMD expects Friday’s temperature to slightly drop and approach 3°C above the seasonal average with relatively warm to warm conditions in most districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley.
PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
