JERUSALEM, Thursday, May 09, 2019 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities released today a Palestinian activist from Jerusalem and a youth arrested last night on conditions restricting their movement and activities in the occupied city and kept two others also detained last night behind bars, according to local sources.
They said Murad Abu Shafe, head of the committee for the defense of Silwan land, was set free on condition he does not take part in any meetings or activities for one month. A youth, Moayyad Salaymeh, was also freed on a $150 bail and one day house arrest.
Two others detained last night when Israeli police attacked Palestinians leaving the night prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque had their detention extended until tomorrow.
