RAMALLAH, Thursday, May 09, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy and relatively cold in mountainous districts, and pleasant in other districts in daytime, while relatively cold to cold conditions are expected for the early morning and night hours, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A slight chance of scattered light rains is expected on some districts. Wind is northwesterly to westerly and moderate to active. Sea waves are medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 15°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
PMD expects Friday’s temperature to slightly rise and approach 4°C below the seasonal average. Partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions are expected in mountainous districts, and pleasant conditions in other districts in daytime.
Temperature is set to drop in the evening and night hours, paving the way to relatively cold to cold conditions. A slight chance of scattered light rains is expected on some districts.
Mainly clear and mild conditions are expected on Saturday in daytime in mountainous districts, and relatively warm conditions in other districts, while relatively cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Temperature is set to significantly rise and approach the seasonal average.
Sunday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average with mainly clear and pleasant conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts.
