RAMALLAH, Saturday, May 04, 2019 (WAFA) – Today’s weather is moderate and pleasant as temperature remains three degrees Celsius below the seasonal average with westerly to northwesterly light to moderate wind and low sea waves, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 21°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 19°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A significant rise in temperature is expected for Sunday to approach 5°C above the seasonal average.

Another rise in temperature is expected for Monday to approach 8°C above the seasonal average, which significantly drops again on Tuesday to become 5°C below the seasonal average.

People are warned against direct exposure to sunlight for long periods, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM as well as of setting fire to dry grass on Sunday and Monday.
