RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 30, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is relatively warm, dry and mainly clear with a drop of temperature which becomes higher than the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s weather is relatively warm and dry in daytime and slightly cold in nighttime with a slight rise of temperature which approaches 4 to 5°C above the seasonal average.

Thursday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 6 to 7°C above the seasonal average with warm conditions in mountainous districts and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley. Scattered light rains are expected to fall on some districts in late night hours.

Friday’s temperature is set to significantly drop and approach 2 to 3°C lower than the annual average with partially cloudy and pleasant conditions in daytime, and cold condition in the early morning and night hours.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to the sun for long periods on Wednesday and Thursday.
